A Pregnant Pause

A few months ago, two special friends fell pregnant. It was kind of a first for me, and another one of those all too frequent reminders that I need to think about being a grown up.
Then life carried on. Frenetic, fun and fast.
The next time I saw them I couldn’t believe the boep I saw before me. It was a joyful kick, to see a round tummy, a glow, and a calmness in our friends. Suddenly the reality of it all added some perspective, and I was more excited than I have been in ages. It was so real. So close!
Anyway, I can’t wait for D day (thats “D” for delivery). And the best part is that they jumped at the chance to show off the beautiful bump that will be baby Beukes, in front of the camera. So check out the gallery on the left called “A Pregnant Pause”.
